Before the breast lift.   After the breast lift with a ”mini-reduction”. 160 grams of fat and skin tissue have been removed from each side.

   Six months after the breast reduction. Approx. 500 grams have been removed from each breast. The scars are still somewhat red. The stretch marks are unchanged.

 Prior to the breast reduction, the surgeon needs to estimate the amount of tissue to be removed. The patient’s desire as far as the size after the procedure goes must be taken into account at this point.

 Right before the operation, the surgeon marks the incision lines on the breasts and estimates how much the mammary gland will be lifted.

 The reduced mammary glands and nipples are lifted and the incisions are stitched.
